100 Dutch Irises at Costco

Corte Madera, CA

Hello everyoone! After the initial success with Costco glads, I grabbed 2 bags of dutch irises. Less than $10/bag.

Wishing you all the fun and blooms this growing season.

That is going to look so nice (200 dutch irises blooming). You will find that some colors bloom sooner than others, but that helps extend the bloom season. Great buy !!

I have had good luck with the glads I bought at costco a couple years back. I haven't tried their iris yet thought. I guess I need to make a trip to costco huh!?
Are you going to do a mass planting, rows or are you going to spread the beauty around?

i still don't have a planned garden, so they will be in flower boxes and various pots.

That looks like a fantastic deal!
I can just imagine how beautiful the waves of color will be when they bloom.

If your "sniffer" works and you are close enough, you will detect a change of smell, but one can not bragg about it.

Thanks Bleek,
I guess when a flower is so dramatic it can be garden worthy even without a "bragable" fragrance ;-)
