Ok you seed smart folks I need some help. I winter sowed some of my seeds and labeled them and put the list in my garden book and now I can't figure out one of them. It was labeled
SALVIA WINDSOR CASTLE
I have searched several search engines and can't find anything that matches.
Can any of you help me??
Thanks
Sandra
I need Help, I can't find out what I planted???
Are you sure they're salvia?
So far I've found a company by that name that sells salvia.
And Malvas by the name of 'Windsor Castle'.
What did your seed look like?
You can check this site out to see what salvia seeds look like compared to the malva seeds.

If that doesn't help, let me know. I will take a pic of my salvia seeds and malva windsor castle seeds to send you.

I think I planted them all and that was what was on the envy--I guess I will know when and if they bloom???
I found the malva too and I wondered if that was what it was, but it did have salvia on the seeds.
Thanks
Sandra
Sandra, there's quite a difference between malva and salvia seedlings, especially once they get their first true leaves. Here's a picture of some Mont Blanc lavatera seedlings. They will be similar to the Malva sylvestris 'Windsor Castle' seedlings. If you have any of the seeds left, that could be a clue, as well. Malva seedlings are rather flat, formed in a ring that you can break apart for planting.
Looks like malva to me!
I am proud of them whar ever they are, I just love seeing all the stuff starting to grow around here.
SPRING HAS SPRUNG
Thaks for your help
Sandra
Yep, that looks like malva leaves, not salvia leaves.
