Finally some blooms

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

It's been a long winter and it's not over up here yet but the Brugs don't seem to mind.
The trees and larger seedlings that I brought in last year are starting to bud and flower already.
Last years smaller seedlings are just beginning to show some new growth and hopefully now that they are in the GH they will soon take off.
It's sooooo good to smell them again. I've sure missed that scent that only a Brug can have.
Here's Meadow Rose this morning. She will be darker in summer color.

And L'Amour is getting ready to open.
Can you see all the snow outside the GH? Good thing the Brugs don't have eyes or they would stay dormant. LOL

Just beautiful! What a nice treat with all that snow you have. Meadow Rose has such a pretty shape. I LOVE the color of Becca Lynn it's such a nice crisp yellow.

Your trumpets are beautiful and they're heralding the arrival of Spring.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Beautiful blooms, I always like your shots with the snow.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Great looking, Terry. Something is eating my leaves and they look like swiss cheese. I know most of it is snails because I see their trail across the leaves.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Me too Ada!! I treated for slugs yesterday and hope I nip it in the bud (pun groaner), they nearly wiped me out last year. Did I ever mention that I hate slugs, ugh. Aren't slugs/snails mostly a spring thing - don't they sorta thin out when it gets really hot?? What do you use for snails/slugs, Ada??

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Thanks everyone. The darn winters are so long up here it is a real treat to smell the blooms once again.
Oriole my GH is not near big enough. I wish it was a few feet taller.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Sherry, I don't think the snails/slugs ever thin out here. I use whatever is on the shelves at Lowe's for snails. I also have lids that I pour beer in and sit around. The past three years has been terrible here for the snail/slugs.

Oh So Beautiful to have blooms and the smell of Brugs at this time. I bet that alone makes the wait of placing them outdoors that much more difficult!! Thanks for showing us your bit of Sunshine :-)

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

How wonderful for you Terry! They look great!

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

It must have something to do with having one of the cleanest neatest most organized GH's in the world
Mine...well,they look like the disaster that I am...LOL

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

snowhermit....just gorgeous! I love the Meadow Rose...such nice green leaves and a lovely color and name too!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Beautiful ... can't wait to see her summer color. Becca Lynn is one of my all time favorites.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I could be a "snowhermit". If I had a gh filled with blooming brugs and surrounded by the fozen tundra, my family would never see me.
Thanks for the beautiful pics! I think 'Becca Lynn' really suits the bloom shape and color. Guess I now have another lady to put on my want list.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Thanks everyone. It's been a long time since I smelled the scent of Brugs in the house. With Becca Lynn, Meadow Rose and Golden Lady all out in bloom the house is full of the scent, maybe a little too much but I sure won't complain.

Mc Call Creek, MS

Terry, Meadow Rose is lovely! You must keep that greenhouse really warm to get that kind of result with snow still outside! You are a very talented lady!
