Starting Brugs

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

I looked and looked but couldn't find the thread that had a post about starting brugs in rock wool. I was just wondering if you try to remove the seedling from the rock wool or just repot it rock wool and all?

Pot it all. You can tear off some of the excess if you want. I've done that as long as the roots aren't disturbed badly.

Thanks :)

OK.. Once your brug has sprouted how soon should you repot? There isn't any nutrient in that rockwool and I don't want to lose my baby

It will be fine until it has some true leaves and then I would put it in a pot of soil. You can probably do it at any time, but watch the moisture because the soil will suck the moisture out of the rockwool and your baby might not have enough roots to get out in the soil to get to the moisture.
