your opinions on ebay's refurbished computers

I've been looking at the sony vaio desk tops on ebay, what do you all think of the refurbished ones. I'm computer illiterat for the most part. I don't know, Period.

I have a fantastic computer guy who fixes all my problems and charges me very little. So i'm not too concerned about warrenties where I have to send off the computer for 2 weeks, I'd rather just take it to him and have him fix it in one or two days.

WE want a computer to play my son's games and so I can sell on line, and browse the internet, we have now a very old computer, so anything newer than what we have is going to make us feel like we've died and gone to computer heaven LOL.

you can get these refurbished sony's just the tower and maybe the key board and speakers for anywhere from l50 to 300 maybe more.

your opinions please.

Have yall ever bought a refurbished computer off ebay.

They even have ones on there that the owners have just upgraded, their older 3 year old computers, are even much more than what my l0 year old comptuer is.
