Hi! Wow, there is so much to read here! Didn't even know this forum exsisted until today! I've only been here maybe two months, so that's OK, right!?!??! My name is James, I go by J and I live in Colorado. Born and raised and can't WAIT to leave!
Well, I just bought my first home about a year ago. Its a townhome, several stories high. I've been working on painting it and will be doing my first "real" gardening this year! Check out some pictures:

I've been really enjoying it here and I am learning alot! Had to leave GW, ugh, just to moderated I guess the word is. I am really into Brugs right now and have a basement FULL of seedlings I may never have room for! Its going really good for a first year, haven't even lost one seedling to damping off! I enjoy hiking and backpacking in Rocky Mountain National Park, about 40 minutes from my home. I hold an active lifestyle and am in the gym quite a bit. Health is very important to both myself and my girlfriend Jessi of five years, who is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with a deadly late stage Melanoma when she was 21. 6 months of experimantal chemo and surgery, she's now 2 1/2 years clean. We hope to keep it that way. We eat organic whenever we can and hold the meat as much as possible as well.
I am a HARD core fan of Fleetwood Mac! I can tell you everything and anything about them. I had the privledge of seeig the front row in Denver this last summer! See the link above for some pictures.
That's about all, hope to see you al around!

Finally introducing myself.....
Hi James, welcome. I'm new to membership, but have been addicted to the watchdog all winter. I'm a Stevie Nicks/Fleetwoodmac fan to; saw her in concert about 18 years ago and she was awsome.
The Bella Donna Tour! Stevie's first solo outting! Lucky you! I think I should have been born in the late sixties! Nice to meet you gemini. Thanks for the welcome!

Hello!
I love Fleetwood Mac! Lindsey Buckingham is so handsome. : )
Wanted to name my oldest daughter Sara. One of my favorite songs that they sing. I would hum it to her before she was born.
Husband said no way, not after a song. He would not even go for Rhiannon. (Told me it had to be something different)
Must be why he is an ex! LOL
My daughter has a girl in her class named Rhiannon. The math teacher told her that was so cool he loved Fleetwood Mac! She said that she knew she was named after a song just had never listened to it. Daughter came home from school and said she was glad I did not name her that. Did not want to be confused with the "Dumb" girl!
Have a wonderful time here!
I loved the picture of your home. Tell your girlfriend we said hello and wish her the best being cancer free!
Hello again J. LOL! Glad you found this forum and introduced yourself to those who haven't yet had a chance to see your nice home and lovely girlfriend.
Welcome to DG, it's a great place to call home.
Hey FlowerFan,
Stevie finally played Sara the last tour for the first time since 1982 I believe. It was a real treat! Sara is not a bad name, even if it is a song title. So what did her name end up being? Jessi is really into Lindsey!
Brugie! Hi again! And thanks for the welcome Roseone!
Take care!
J
Welcome StvNicks Fan!
I'm a fan of Fleetwood Mac also. Never been to a concert but I've enjoyed their music for a long time. I agree with you regarding Christine McVie. I love her voice. It's so smooth and mellow. One of my favorite songs by her is Songbird. Too bad she's retired now.
Wish you good luck in your gardening endeavors!
Toni
Thanks Toni,
My all time favorite song of hers was Say You Love Me! Songbird was a great closer for their shows too. Thanks for the welcome!

We ended up naming her Melina. She is about the prettiest thing you have ever seen. At 13 she can sometimes be a pill but I think her younger sister is the one that will give me all my gray hairs. Her name is Maylen. They told us she was going to be a boy so we had Liam picked out. Well, she popped out a girl and then the fight was on about a name. I gave in. He had the advantage. I had just given birth and was tired!
Could not imagine them being called anything else now.
I'm so glad that you joined our garden family here. There is always something going on - things to learn, new ideas to try out and of course, lots of plants and seeds to swap. I hope you like it as much as I do.
