My new pond's progress

Any suggestions on how to make it look better? I will be adding more rocks around it to cover cinder blocks. Pictures on 3-7-05

I would plant lots of tall grass like maybe 1-Pompass Grass and med sized grass plants, and some Hibiscus, And lots of Gladiolus, and bulbs. As well as planting ground cover over the concrete blocks to hide the blocks. As well as , I would plant plenty of warer lily's, and parrott'd feather,

Hi Traci,

Where would you place the pampass grass? I have lots of parrot feather, water lettuce, water poppy, umbrella papyrus, goldfish and lots of water lilies in the pond. Just planted the LA iris around the edges in containers with liners to keep the iris moist (They were growing in the edges of my old pond). They are all named but I lost all of the tags. I have last years photo's of them so I will be able to identiy them when they bloom. How do you think sedums would do growing in the cracks of the rocks? Did you notice the pond in the left corner (2nd photo). I am just starting another water feature over there. I got (2) 45 gallon ponds at Lowe's for $35.00 I need some neat ideas for it too.

Betty
