Ginger's Broken Toes

Brought Ginger to our vet yesterday. The splint looks good and needs to stay on for two more weeks. So I guess it takes about 3 weeks for broken toes to heal. I asked the vet to trim the fur around her rear end. Ginger is not grooming herself as well as she usually does. I think the splint has her a little off balance.

I love my vet - so does Ginger. She was on vacation last week so is very busy this week and squeezed us in yesterday. She said the emergency hospital would probably remove the splint and x-ray the toes again. She said this would be a waste of money. She will x-ray the toes in two weeks. She only charged me $16.00 for the visit.
