How long did it take from seed to flower? Great example!

Seeds take from 2 - 7 years before flowering.very slow..and the seeds never come true.......so when you see someone advertise red plumeria hybrid seeds..you can get ANY color..Plumerias have double the normal chromosomes of other plants..so even a selfed plant (unless its a seperate species like pudica) will be any combination of colors and forms(shapes) of flowers. So never buy seeds thinking you will get an exact duplicate of the parent plants.It doesn't happen.You may get some awesome babies........
