Here is an update on that 18" cutting. She is now about 20" high. The white is SO white...

And that X called Peau de Soie...3' tall.

Edited to add that the reddish brown spots on the leaf facing the camera are what I asked about in another post. I took them to the Plant Pathologist at the UofH and they were diagnosed as a fungus....

Snowing? ACKkkkkkkkkkkk!

I was generously sent some cuttings of DonnaB's Monster Brug (unofficial nickname) and she is living up to her reputation (the Brug, not Donna ;~).

I get them to bloom short, perhaps, because people have sent me such terrific cuttings!!! We have also had a drought here...so those planted out are a bit stressed!

Thanks. I am having fun!

I have never heard of , looks prettty. I hope you can kill that fungus. These will be the talk of Hawaii when you get them going big.

Donna, can you imagine, your brug will be all over Hawaii, thanks to you.

Here's mine from last year 'DonnaB's Monster Brug' (unofficial nickname)....she's recovering from a bout with mites while she was in the GH, but new leaves are coming out and starting to fill up again. I see little teeny weeny buds though :)
