Type of light for seedlings/sprouted plants

clifton, NJ

Sorry wrong forum :( Could someone delete this thread, thank you.

Hello, some of my seeds are starting to sprout (corrent terminology?) and I was wondering what type of lighting I should use. Currently the plant trays are in the basement on top of the furnace and the water heater. However, they do not get sufficent light down there. So I was wondering what type of lighting I should use for the next 3 weeks or so (before I plant them in the ground). Thanks alot for your help.

Waxhaw (Charlotte), NC(Zone 7b)

Use fluorescent lights placed 2-3" above the top of the canopy of the seedlings.
