Looks like something from a science fiction movie!
Awesome!

Cochrane, ON(Zone 2b)

That is an unbelievable photo. I have never heard of that plant before. Great shot.

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

Wow! Those are amazing. Are they really that large?

Is that you in the backround?

Lakemont, GA(Zone 8a)

Looking at that plant re-inforces my belief that God has a REALLY good sense of humor!

Kermit, TX(Zone 7b)

I agree, Berrygirl! pretty cool..

Minneapolis, MN

Wow....

Misleading picture. At first I thought the fruit things were bigger than the man's head... but the focus is way off. Therefore this must be a close-up picture of the fruiting bodies with the man quite a bit away in the distance leaving us with no actual size gage of how big these fruits really are.

Can you help us out here UCDweeb? At first I thought the man was looking directly at an incredibly monsterous creation... that's not the case though, is it? What size are the fruits?

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9b)

I thought something similar...
The background plantlife seems to be the Sonoran Desert with the Saguaro's and Buckhorn Cholla, etc. But the Euphorbia is native to both of the shores of the Gulf of California (along the western shore of Mexico and the eastern shore of the Baja peninsula). I may be off, but I don't think Saguaro's and Buckhorn Cholla grow there.
Was this photo snapped at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix?
