This particular raceme of flowers has a gorgous sunset coloration. It also lacks coloring on the bracts. This is due to it being warm, and in direct light.

Blooms that hang on the shadier side of the vine , and exposed to cooler temperatures, are more intense in color. The bracts are more purplish, and the flowers are more red, than orange.

My personal preference is the sunset orange, but I know many people prefer red...
