It was so nice here today, and we worked outside for awhile. First grass cutting of the season, and pulling of weeds!! I am sure I heard hummingbirds flitting about. I am presuming I should not put any nectar out for them if I am going to be away for a couple of weeks starting a week from today??? I also presume that they will find what they need in the meantime until we get back??

Hummingbirds??
They will find what they need.
Isn't it nice to hear them?
Yes, we had one zipping around the garden this afternoon. It's so nice to have them back.
I think it would be better to wait to put the feeder out Glenda. I know they always say that you shouldn't start feeding them then stop because they come to rely on it. Every year here the hummingbirds come and hang around for a week or two, then go away for a couple of weeks, then come back to stay till about August. So you might have timed it just right, if they do the same thing down your way.
Thanks. I figured I shouldn't start until I came back, but just thought I'd check!!
Yes, it's nice to hear them. Too bad it's so hard to see them!!
