Coleus, Flame Nettle, Painted Nettle 'Alabama'
Solenostemon scutellarioides
Fell in love with this and HAD to buy it.
Coleus, Flame Nettle, Painted Nettle 'Alabama' (Solenostemon scutellarioides)
I'm becoming more and more enamored of these fantastic plants!
Wow to both of those, they add just great pizazz to a garden.
What is that ruffledy edge one at the bottom. Is that edge a standard trait of a wizard?
Your camera takes fantastic pictures.

Smiln32,
Is that a purple tinge in the middle of your first pic? It's georgiousouesssssss...
PS. You know we have a Coleus Forum now? Yes we do!
Nancy Lee
I'm assuming the purple in the middle of both pics is pollen, but I truly don't know. I also don't know the name of the plant in the second picture. No tags were present when I bought it. My knowledge of coleus extends about as far as my likes and dislikes. It's not a plant I have spent a great deal of time learning about thus far.
Well come over to our forum and learn with the rest of us. They are a "do-everything" plant....and beautiful.
Thank you, I think I shall. :)
Luv your finds, Smiln32.
:) Donna
