Very pretty pond ! Mine might look that lush in about 3 months!

So purdy, I envy you. I wanted one, but there are too many duck, egrets, anhinga, 4' iguana, etc to have. One, too much poop, and they would all eat my fish. Oh well. I have a dry river bed. Not quite the same.

Lisa, where did you find your cute little frogs?

I think it was at Walmart or Lowes.

Love the picture of your pond! We are slowly getting ours like we want it. Fighting the string algae right now, am tempted to try the peroxide. Have you used it?
We've used the Algae Fix from Pet's Mart, works too, but right now it seems like it is very slow.

No, I have string algae also. It doesnt last forever. I would rather have the string algae any day the the pea green soup. My neighbor used something to kill the string algae and ended up with brown stinky stuff that she had to clean out anyway. Then she was hit with the pea green soup which took her forever to get rid of. I have never had the pea soup stuff. i think it is because I get the yearly string stuff. I just keep a toilet bowl brush hidden nearby. A few sweeps a day and it doesnt loook bad at all. In a month or so, it will be goine.
