I don't recall knowing anybody who eats the greens. I know lots of people who consume the honey the bees make from it though. It is sold under the Beemaid Honey label. My parents by it by the gallon pail full straight from the beekeeper and then melt it down into jars. As for turnips...that's just dredging up horrible childhood memories! I hate turnips!!! And yes I had to eat them!! Uggg!! As an adult, never a turnip will be grown in my garden! :)

LOL, Brenda. When the plants are young, the greens are good. I too had to eat the turnips.UGH! However now I just steam sliced small ones until they are barely tender. I can eat those. All I've seen lately are the size of a big grapefruit. UGH again, lol
I'll try some rape in the fall.
