I forgot the name of this one, but it's pretty

This flower is HUGE and lasts two days(maybe it's a tet). I bought it at a nursery, she told me the name but I've lost the tag and I can't remember.

I can't remember Deb, this one has grey in the center around the maroon. I'll have to take a flower back to the nursery and ask her which one it is.

If you ever have a cutting from it to share I'd love to trade for one!!

I haven't had great luck rooting hibiscus but I can usually find gallon size for $5. Next time you come this way, I'll have to show you where the greenhouse is.

Sounds goot to me!!

(BTW Rooting hibiscus cuttings is a breeze. Just stick them in a cup/bottle of water and wait.)

For you maybe Donna. LOL! I am terrible at it.

So do these fancy hibiscus get to be trees where you are, Susie? Go ahead, make me so jealous!

They only get about 10 ft tall Kell.
Donna, I will give it a try. I've never been good with hibiscus cuttings but haven't tried rooting them in water.

Thank you!!

Oh then, I sure won't be jealous.
Have to be at least 12 ft to elicit such feelings from me. LOL

So if I were you, I would just have yard fo fancy hibiscus.

They don't let them get 12 ft Kell, then they would be too tall and the wind would damage them! I thought about a hibiscus hedge but where I want to put it, the Floratam grass is so pretty and Bill would have a fit if I dug it up.
