Taken in the Botanic Garden of Bakau, The Gambia. I kindly asked the gardener and he gave me two cuttings of this pretty little plant. Isn't it cool - pure white :) They are rooting in their pot now, so perhaps in Summer we'll have flowers..
No idea which cultivar it is - would you?

I have trouble rooting this one myself..called Swan Lake or waimea white here.........little leaves big plant,small flowers..but sooooo nice!!
Here are the cuttings.... I guess they have roots now as the leaves have been growing

I hope so too, I want a warm Summer, not a rainy one like last year...
Days are quite long already, was in Helsinki yesterday and it was really nice walking at the city in the evening when it was so bright and calm. Sun goes down around 8 PM here now and rises around 6:45 AM.
Here they are again - grown a bit, no flowers so far. For some reason they stopped growing. Perhaps they should be fertilized more.. Don't know. There's a small Asarina scandens growing in the same pot, got the seeds from Ursula in Chile.

Lots of flowerbuds in it now! :) I should bring it in, nights are getting cold..
+14°C last night, the night before just +9°C.. But it makes them sturdy ;)

Done - brought it in as well as some other plants. The Asarina is also doing well, I just hope the Winter won't kill it!
Good job Evert, I really like this form, I had the pink form at one time too, but sold the plant and now wish I hadn't!

your plant looks tropical..... we have a pure white here that is root hardy to zone 4.......Called Blue River ll Hibiscus
