Pati's son got married!

I posted this on the "Night owl" thread in the Jokes and Chat Forum (yes, I lurk over there too!) but since this is my other favorite "lurking" Forum I wanted to share it with you. I am still giddy with the wonder of it all LOL

G-O-O-D M-O-R-N-I-N-G!!! How often does an event go exactly as planned without one single thing going wrong? Almost never, but the wedding was perfect!!! The weather was perfect, the bride was beautiful, the groom was esctatic, the food was awesome, the music was great, tears of joy were shed....then everybody danced!!!

They were married outside under a wedding arch flanked by vases of Calla Lillies with the water as a backdrop, curious pelicans sitting on top of the pilings and sea gulls circling waiting for the first morsel of dropped food!

Each table had a centerpiece of a vase with a beautiful Beta fish and small colorful sea shells scattered about the table. The three tiered wedding cake was decorated with seashells, topped by a intricate arrangement of sea coral...all in white chocolate!

My son was so handsome in his tux, my grandson was a 6'3" vision in his white Navy officer's uniform, all my other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were a picture of perfection in their "Sunday best", and I floated 3' off the ground in my Mango outfit which had the most amazing chiffon poncho which allowed my every gesture to be enhanced by a dazzling display of billowing color!

And yes, PICTURES!!! but 70,000?? enjoy the editting part of that many photos. LOL

Thanks for sharing what sounded like an incredible day, Pati. Wonderful description, I could almost see your lovely Mango outfit. Sounds like you are still floating, LOL. Congratulations!

Pati, congratulations on the "perfect" wedding! I especially want to see you in your Mango dress, floating.

Maybe we should post pictures of someone else just to get her going, and give her a hint.

Believe it or not, yesterday was the last day of the wedding "week"!!! Guests and family are scattering in all directions.....CA, WA, MO, TN, GA,NC, ETC. Everybody clutching their cameras and hopefully making their first stop the film developing department of their favorite store. Those with digitals will have cd's cut and mailed around. One set of 95 pictures has hit the internet already, but due to the fact that we have been entertaining four great grand children, most of those were pictures of little children in various stages of dress and undress. Rock stars don't get that much "film time"! LOL

Well, I wish we were that sophisticated, but they are making the rounds in e-mails! As soon as kiss the last granddaughter and the two grands goodbye as they leave for TN, I'll see if I can't glean some to post.

And last, for now, myself and my late best friend's daughter. Since her mother passed away she has been my great friend and traveling companion. We have done the Caribbean several times, Bermuda, Alaska and more to come!!! On this occasion we were known as the Mango twins. LOL

She is our favorite person because she introduced my son and his bride. It seemed fitting that she finished the good deed! She really is too cute to be a lawyer! LOL

Gorgeous! Handsome son, beautiful bride, loved her dress and her hair. That cake is wonderfully decorated. The scenery is spectacular. I want to live there!!! And Pati, you dress is stunning! I haven't seen any of the full length pictures myself yet. I usually use one crutch for balance to walk, but, after the many toasts, I tossed it aside and did the "Funky Chicken" (a dance) with my son! We soon settled down into a sedate Merinque' while the grandchildren were still in shock! LOL
