superthrive

Does anyone know how much of this to put in a hose end sprayer for regular feeding? Thanks.

bev, according to my package, it depends on what you're doing with it.

Quoting:
For most purposes - active development or resisting stress: 1/4 teaspoonful per gallon

For extra-soft, tender plants, or for constant, daily use, or simple healthy maintenance - one or a few DROPS per GALLON

And by the way, welcome to Dave's Garden! Glad you found this forum, it's as friendly as TX. Since you are from "up North" (of here), you might want to check out the Texoma Roundup coming up in May: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/486477/

What does Superthrive do? I read on the package that it's not a fertilizer.

Siggy

It's basically "vitamins", or "bio-usables" (their words) for the soil and foliar feeding, as a compliment to fertilizers. The packaging looks bizarre, like this must be so much "snake oil", but I constantly hear it recommended by gardening experts, especially those who espouse healthy soil for healthy plants (without harmful/toxic chemicals.)
