Local garden centers here in Louisville sell Brugs that are about 12" tall with 4-5 leaves. They are packaged in little bags of what appears to be peat moss and that is inside a box with a picture of what the plant will look like when it blooms. If I by one of these and plant it, what size pot should I use? Will it bloom this year? I have tried these before and had NO luck at all. Thanks for the info.

I would start it in a gallon pot and let it grow a month at least or until it appears to have lots of root growth. Then move it to a minimum of a 5 gallon up to the biggest pot you can find. If you feed it a lot, keep it watered, and keep a close eye for bugs and worms, it should bloom for you this year easily.
