Rcn48~ That is a clump of Grecian Windflower - Anemone blanda 'Blue Star'. I bought 5 bulbs on a clearance sale online, planted them thinking they were probably dead, and they lived...:) They have been bloomimg for 2 weeks and are still going strong.

Wrong pic, those are a fritillaria. This is the other clump of Anemone blanda.....

Thank you, the leaves did look like an anemone - but the flower looked different. Now that you've posted the other pic with the flowers open, it all makes sense!
