glenmora, LA(Zone 8a)

Well we had that festival this week end.It was very much a success getting brugs out in the area.I displayed the pictures of the flowers along with the plants. The picture stopped many many people in there tracks.People were stutted how these flowers were so big and beautiful. So now there are more named brugs being grown here in central louisiana.:)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

How cool
i wonder if I should try something like that here
get more addicts

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

CC, I know it would work a little west of you here in Buffalo, we are really behind as far as the world of brugs and dats are concerned. On our annual garden walk, I only saw 1, that's right 1 brug, and maybe 4 daturas in all the yards I observed. The dats were the white metel.
You would probably make quite an impact.
I hope that I can convince my gardening buddies to become addicted.
Then I won't be so lonely here.............

glenmora, LA(Zone 8a)

lol hellobebe

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

I'm kind of hoping there'll be a few around here too and I mean closer than WI (Renee and Scooter).

I've never seen or heard anyone in garden club with brugs. I don't remember seeing any driving around here (assuming most folks would have at least ONE out front to tantalize the world). I can't say I've ever seen one in any of the nurseries/garden centers either.

The way the cuttings and babies started from seed have responded to fluorescent lights, I just might make a statement this summer with my collection thats multiplied since Nov.

That is... if it ever warms up here!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Maybe you better grow a lot of them and start a little business to help support your brug habit, Blaine. Maybe you could do some rose cuttings too. As pretty as your yard looks, I would think that people will be asking about all the brugs in it this year.

Mc Call Creek, MS

Good going Dona! I'm glad you were successful! This ought to get that web site some good business, too!

Well Shirley - I got a better idea. You've got room to expand your operation. Maybe you can be the grower and I'll be a forward deployed display garden? I've declined hosting garden walks or plant swaps here last year but maybe I'd do each this year with flowering flushes. During either one of those events someone is always wanting cuttings or divisions. I'll just take orders and contact you!!

Get your business cards ready and a copy of your favorite pictures for my Brug album (order book). :)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Sure, you want me to do all the work. LOL!!.......
