I turned my old pond into a "bog" by filling it with peat moss last year and watering it down. Bought some pitcher plants on Ebay and stuck them in there. They made it thru the winter, although I would not say they are "thriving'" I figure that is pretty normal in the colder months but I could be wrong.
Wondering if I should add anything else to the peat, like sphagnum moss?
Also, if anyone else here grows these outside, what plants are good for our zone? (8b)
