I posted this in the wrong place, should have started a thread. I have some jatropha multifida in liners. They are way too big for the liners, about 18 inches tall. They look like fat sticks with no buds showing. I have not grown these before, never really seen them except for a few pictures. I am inclined to upsize them from the liners to one gallons and then plant them out this summer, but I am not sure. What would those familar with this plant do?
Jatropha multifida question
Thanks, it will be interesting to see how these do in the ground here. No frost, but lots of nights in the very high thirties, low forties. Red hibiscus didn't make it, but it might have been a water problem. Everything is on drip, but it looks like these jatrophas like a dry winter which is not the case here in Arroyo Grande, though the rainfall is usually only about 12 inches. I have not seen any others planted around here.
