If you bought them already leafed out, they are more difficult to sustain. Normally they are transplanted in the dormant stage, Usually if you follow the planting instructions they are no problem to start. The major mistakes are a poorly prepared planting hole; too much fertilizer, ( none is the aprppriate amount) planting too deep (never any deeper than they were in the nursery) and overwatering. Water them them heavily when transplanting, but let the ground get relatively dry between waterings.

yea they were leafedout with small peaches on them also i have them in containers wiskey barrels i drilled 2 1 inch holes will that be big enough

Peaches really don't like to be waterlogged. You might want to drill 3 or 4 more holes. If you place a piece of screen over each hole, you won't lose any of the potting soil. Was the tree bareroot? Ideally, peach trees should be planted when they are completely dormant. Pruning when you plant and removing any flowers and/or fruit improves the peach tree's chance of survival when planted under less that perfect conditions.
