That's neat, Scoot. I needed this last year. LOL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

WOW, so impressive! WOW again.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Great job scoot. This will be a valuable piece of paper to all hybridizers.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

That's great Scoot!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

That is super, Scoot!!! I surely wish I had it before i planted my seeds this year. While I was having ankle surgery, my sweet family,
removed the sacks from by seedlings, that included all the info, with exception of the cross, I no longer have the hybidizers' names but
I do remember some, I think, I hope, whew!!

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Good job Scoot ...

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

copying it now! Good idea Scoot!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Very good idea Scoot, don't imagine I will ever have a introductable seedling, but still good to keep track. DonnaS

I am going to have to quit my job to follow thru and track all my seedlings, Scoot. LOL. OK with me. Good job you did.

Now that it is morning, I was thinking of other things I find of interest to me. I do not know if anyone else cares about them or not. I also track mine if they are easy to root or what months they take to rooting. Some are only easy in certain times. Others root, if you drop a piece on dirt.

I also always note if there are any characteristics that I feel are deformities. I have had some that the stigmas are very short and stubby. Or the calyx does not pull apart as the corolla emerges. Things like that. I may not use that seedling for breeding or even do that cross again if it is a reoccurring deformity. Sometimes you can pinpoint the brug that is passing it on.

I also note if their stigmas are easy to get to, to pollinate. Some are nicely extended below the anthers. I love these, for I can pollinate them quickly without removing the anthers. Though lately I remove all anthers on flowers, even if I just toss them. Also their condition is also of interest to me. I prefer the glued look. LOL. But also it can be a clue to the background of the plant.

As well as deformities, I have had a few brugs that there was a characteristic that was different than any of my other brugs. It was unique, like leaf texture, shape or color. I always note this for I love to have variety among my brugs and I may try to cross to keep this unusual trait.

I am going to use this form Scoot on my best crosses. With my memory it should be so useful. Thanks again!!

Edited to say Oh my, why is my post a mile wide? LOL. On edit it looks normal!! I hope it is not my new computer having a breakdown. Does it look so weird to all of you guys??

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

LOL Kell it is messed up! Like really WIDE lolol! I had to use my bar on the bottom to slide over to read the post
of yours LOL>>> I wonder why? Also at the top of this thread, Ive noticed it doesn't have the
information at the top of it like all the others? This is odd??? I spaced down a line in order for this
not to happen. ????? *puzzled look*

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

It is because Scoot put a couple of lines,
at the bottom of her post, that need to be
shortened. Then everything should be okay.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

OHHHHHHHHHH LOL. It is Scoot's fault!! Hey Scooter. I went to another forum and posted a long one, and it was fine!! I was thinking for the rest of my life my posts will have to be 10 words or less. LOL Hey, maybe Dave did it to me on purpose. LOL

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

It was fine last night after ada posted ('-'?)

I think kelldidit ...... lol

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh sure, now you sound like my husband. LOL. Much better. Thanks Scoot!
