Gol-dang it anyway..........

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Not only did I lose a bunch of brugs this winter when the heater in the hoop house blew the circuit breaker on the coldest night of the year..but last week I went to Fla. for a week and came home today to find out that we had a freeze AGAIN (when it was not suppose to get below 39) and all the brugs I had outside got bitten by it.

If it were not for bad luck, I would have no luck at all....(sigh)

You have had a unlucky winter. I put two heaters in my plant room and so far all the bad luck I have had is Knats and one Brug that had spider mites after I brought it up from the cellar. Hope all of them come up from the roots for you. If they dont you can have some of mine come roundup time in Texoma.

When my Snow Cone, UConn Treasure, Whiskers, Yellow Gold, Pink and versicolor Pink get big enough I would be more than happy to repay cuttings to you. ; - >

How wonderful of you to offer to share......thank you so much..

I am sure the ones that got bit by frost this past week will be just fine..I still have many brugs, plus seedlings that are coming along fine.....

I just cant believe this late frost...jeez...its March..!!! LOL This is the reason I moved away from the north..to get away from the frost and snow, etc.....

Thanks to all for offers of cuttings....I didnt intend for this posting to sound like I was wanting/needing more brugs..... and I really appreciate everyone's generosity.

The ones that got freeze bit this last time just lost some of the leaves but the rest of the plant is okay..they will look funny for a while..LOL
