Greetings from South Jersey

Wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and to say thank you to all those who have made this such a wonderful place to spend evenings. So many forums, I don't know where to start!

I just purchased a home about 8 months ago and pretty much have a open slate to work with... err... a weed covered slate, that is..

Since I'm a freak for planning, I'm truly enjoying the database (journal) feature here. It's what brought me to DG to begin with. So THANK YOU to anyone who had a hand in designing that. :o)

I've not found my way through all the forums as yet but I'm getting moving... If anyone can point me in the direction on how to deal with an semi-urban lot that's covered with weeds, I'm there!

Rose318: From SJ to Houston... It must be like a whole other country! :o) I moved back to NJ about 5 years ago after having lived out of the state for over two decades. (Never thought I'd wind up back in Jersey! How strange!) I know exactly where Salem County is. Lovely county. Any transplants down there with you serving up cheesesteaks? Thank you for the welcome and I hope to see you also 'round town!
