CLOSED: Help!! I need......

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Red Abelmoschus seed. Does anyone have any they could part with for SASE or trade? I have some seeds that I could share if anyone has these. Let me know and I'll let you know then, what I have. I'll have to make a list. Not an organized person here. LOL!
Thanks so much.

Hi Brugie, I have a salmon colored Ablemoschus moschatus, but it's a small plant, is this what you're looking for (see pic on this link): http://davesgarden.com/trading/edit/showimage.php?iid=5033

Joseph, that is one of them. Could you save the seeds? I sure would like to have a half dozen or so. Thanks so much.

Very pretty. I'll email you.

How big does yours get (height?), Perennialgirl? I had sold some on eBay...I didn't know the subspecies name.

I bought the seeds a couple of months ago. This is what it said:
"These plants grow 12 inches high and wide with blooms that are 3 inches across".

I ordered the seeds from Cottage Gardens. They aren't going to have them this year. They were called Red Abelmoschus. I have no idea what they are, but thought since it said they were annual, that they would be like the yellow one.

I have a very tall yellow one with a maroon eye, it's very nice. It is Abelmoschus manihot.

That is one that I also have Joseph. In fact, I have way to many of them started this year and no place to transplant them to for waiting to be planted outside. I am out of space. LOL!
