Well not exactly. I was worried about my parakeet and wanted to see what they were acting like. The moment I come into the room they are curious as to what I am doing and usually sit really still. I thought one was sick because he was just sitting so still lately since his mate died. I had put another bird in there, but he still seemed a little depressed.
The camera tells all! Unbeknownst to me, the bird I put in there with him spent the whole time on the side of the cage flirting with another male in the cage next door! LOL
And I had nothing to worry about because little Blooie spent the whole time the camera was on playing his little head off. He would jump from perch to swing and pump the swing to get it going really fast.
I always wondered why they didn't play like the pet store birdies. Well, now I know they are just saving it for when I leave the room. Little sneaks.
When I went back into the room to retrieve the camera, Stormy followed me in. There was a bird cage I had placed on a box so I could get it one the camera. She walked up to it and froze for so long I had to make the comment that the camera was not on pause. When she freezes she freezes totally. I like to watch her stalk things outdoors because she takes one step and them if the thing she is stalking (usually our other dog Maggie) she stops in mid move. Sometimes she has a foot in mid step but she freezes that way. It is hilarious to watch her.
I took a picture of the movie with my still cam when it was on TV playing back. She is having a staring contest with the little white birdie.
