Thanks Boot! There are some really lovely Geraniaceae and Malvaceae here. (I mention both because on my field trips I sometimes confuse the two until I get home with the pics and can ID them....usually the flowers clearly fall into one or the other family, but sometimes the Malvas can have more rounded petals that are placed closer together than one would expect and that's what ends up stumping me ;-).

I love Erodium too , I just looked at the pic , Did not look at what it was.
I went on a field trip , I like saying that. I try to go out once a week .
Last time with a friends flatmate she is from India , and has spent several years in Saudi Arabia, she told me I would find Saudi a bit boring , I am not sure I would , Sunita loves the greens here. and my strawberrys.

My kids think it's really fun to have strawberries in our garden too. Each time they go out to play, they get rewarded with a strawberry or two :-)
