Rocky2-Happy endings...

Hello to all,

For those of you who may remember Rocky, the feral I had taken in, he's going to be just fine. My sister helped me find him a great home. Here's the story.....

My sister called and told me that Joanne has been in the process of moving. She had gotten very sick when she called to cancel her meeting with Rocky, then both of her grandsons got sick. I guess they just shared a bug. anyway, my sister told me that she hadn't changed her mind and she still wanted Rocky if I still had him. Yesturday, her son and grandsons came to meet him, and they ended up taking him home. I sent his blanket and the toys I bought for him so he'd have something familiar around him. After he left, I suddenly sunk to an all time low, and wondered if I'd really did all I could to make it work for him. When my husband came home from work, I was still crying, and he had to calmed me down, and remind me that Rocky will be much happier than he is closed up in this room.
Anyway, my sister came over today. She had seen Joanne at church tonight and went over to talk to her. she told me that all she said was "Jennifer wants to know....." and Joanne just said "Oh, I just love him!" then went on to tell her that he'd slept in the bed with her, and when she got home from work, he greeted her at the door, and sat in the chair with her til church. I'm so happy for him now. Everything just seems right again. Rocky gets free run of his new house and also is the center of attention, Abby acts like her old self again, and I feel like the weight of the world is off my shoulders. I miss him terribly, but knowing how much happier he's going to be, makes it all ok.
