Local 4-H came out on Sunday. They wanted to learn about greenhouse & plants. My son (red jacket) did a good job of hosting.
Each child was giving a pansy seedling to plant in a pot to take home & care for.
Members were very fascinated by all the plants.
Parents were in ah of it all.

That looks like tons of fun.... I still remember the blue spruce seedling that my son gave me for Mother's Day one year oh about 20 years ago when Daycare went to a nursery. It is now about 3 foot tall. Still in ah when I look at that plant......

Your post brought back a flood of memories, all of them good! My DH and I use to be 4-H leaders and loved every minute of it. Lambs were our forte back then, but when our kids grew up and the drought put us out of business we gave up our group.
Your post shows me I still have something to share with 4-H members.
