Glad you finally got the time to slow down long enough & get signed on Daves Garden ... You will love it! nice Folks and great info!!
Mom
welcome Aboard Sisnow
Waving from west Ky...you're a long lost cousin if your mom hasn't already told you!
Welcome!
By the way, my mom is YoYo1 here..she's the keeper of all of our family records.
Welcome, Sisnow....from a friend of Autum's....I hope to meet you both one of these days...after She gets moved to my state and you come to visit! This is a GREAT place and you'll make lots of freinds...and if you are any relations to Melody then you are very lucky...she is great!! Jo
Hey Jo
It appears that Melody's Great Grandmother was a Faith same as my hubbys family (Faith) we are going to explore that connection once I get moved.
Sisnow (Carrie) however is Bill's step daughter, even though she claims him as her own ... (those two have a mutual admiration society going) ... so she would be a back-door relation (Faith). All rounds out the same.
She obviously got home too late tonight to get into DG and see her welcomes ... but she will ... busy, busy, busy!!
Thanks for welcoming her ... she's a peach!
Sally
Yep Jo, I'm collecting relations now....you don't have exclusive rights to 'found family' on DG anymore...heh,heh....
Sally, you've got a great neighbor there in AZ with Jo...she means so much to all of us here. I've had the wonderful experience of knowing her in real life as well as through cyberspace..count yourself lucky.
Edited to say that everyone is a cousin here in the South...whether we're blood relations or steps...so Welcome Cousin Sisnow!

Hi from Iowa. Hope you are enjoying Daves Garden. It's the best!!
Melody, what nice words! Thanks. You're going to be "kin" to me yet! And that would be nice also. Jo
Glad to have you join our garden neighborhood here.
Grab a cup of coffee, too. You may find this place is addictive. :)
Hi Everyone!
I finally found the time to sit down and log on, what a nice welcome. We were installing a new woodstove yesterday, painting my stepdaughters room, getting estimates to have the house shingled and hooking up the electricity in my greenhouse that was a gift from my parents...just a normal average day for us here.
Does anyone see signs of spring yet? I still have a foot of snow and I'm starting to scratch through like the deer just to see a little patch of dirt! I definately have cabin fever!
sisnow - welcome to daves garden. i'm in mid hudson valley in upstate n.y. where is chazy n.y.? my snow is just about melting now so i guess you must be way north of me.
Welcome to Dave's. . . you won't have to scratch through the snow in this garden.

We are about 15 minutes from the Canadian boarder (Montreal is the closest city) so we are WAY North! Hudson Valley is close to Albany isn't it?
