Yes, I know there's no such thing as a stupid question, but....
I have a huge Loquat tree, and underneath it, it appears that there are a TON of "baby" loquat trees, probably about anywhere from 8" - 12" tall. These volunteers, could they be grown as a loquat tree? Will they (eventually) produce fruit? If so, I'd like to see if anyone wants them, before I mow them over! LOL
Thanks for bearing with a newbie!
Stupid question regarding Loquat tree
Hi Chrissy,
Welcome to daves!
Yep, your baby Loquats will grow into big Loquats and reward your friends with fruit. The seeds germinate where they fall in warmer zones.
Hey Chrissy! Welcome to the forum! My loquat delightfully did the same thing! Not all the seedlings made it as transplants tho but 80% did!
Chrissy I'd love a few Loquats....let's trade...what might you be looking for?? I have alot of plants, maybe we'll find something you have to have...if not I'd be glad to send postage....by the way welcome!! Debra~
Absolutely. And great trading material too.
