coming back from the "edge"

Isabella really wants to live as she puts out some grow after the big freeze.
Okay the new growth is small but I swear it IS there :)

She will do great. I have a few of those also. Just remember she has no leaves to use up the water, so you really have to be careful and not rot her.

Pickens, SC(Zone 7a)

Thanks Kell, that is something I need to keep in mind. Is it okay to spray the leaves with Miracle Grow?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Charlotte, she will be a nice plant this year and bloom her little head off. I can see the new growth. She's looking good. Summer will be so much fun this year. I've seen many newer members post great brug pictures here already. It's always exciting for me to see the NEW kids here having so much fun and showing some of us older members how well they are doing. Keep posting your pictures. I'm here to encourage you all with your new addiction. LOL!

What leaves, Charlotte? LOL LOL I always foliar feed, even my sticks. Just do not make it too strong. I use Miracle Grow at times also. It gives them a real push.

Pickens, SC(Zone 7a)

Kell, you have to look REALLY hard to see those leaves but they are there. LOL

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

I can see lots of little sprouts. It's greening up very nicely!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I can see the green too...I think kell is just giving you a hard time...or her vision is not too good!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL. I was just joshing her. I really have a few of those too!! Mine came from NEGLECT!!! I missed them with watering!! Lots of times when your brug drops all her leaves like that, you get tons of side shoots instead of all the growth going to just the top. So it can be a good thing.....as Martha would say!!

Poor Margie, I am keeping her busy explaining me to others today! She is trying to save my reputation I think! Too late Margie!! LOL

Pickens, SC(Zone 7a)

Kell, I know what it is. You are used to seeing all those big wonderful plants of yours and had trouble recognizing my "stick" . LOL.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

kell...you are right! I tried, but I can't keep up with you!!! :-)))
You are on your own now!!! Well, maybe I will help you alittle when I can!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Marige. Hey, everyone needs a little help from their friends.................... especially me!!

With A Little Help From My Friends

What would yow do if I sang out of tune
Would you stand up and walk out on me
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
and I'll try not to sing out of key

I get by with a little help from my friends
I get high with a little help from my friends
Gonna try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away
Does it worry you to be alone
How do you feel by the end of the day
Are you sad because you're on your own

I get by with a little help from my friends
I get high with a little help from my friends
Gonna try with a little help from my friends

That's how all of mine look right now. The three patio pots, and the three in ground plants, all have nubby leaves. I'm sure they'll leaf out just fine now that the evening temps are staying above 40.

edited for fat finger typos :-)
