hey i bought two dwarf peach trees last summer to late to really plant but at 5 dollars each anyway i put them in containers wiskey barrels cut in half about a month latter the leaves started to fall off i used some superthrive and one leveled out the otherone lost all its leaves well here it is almost spring ones buddin like crazy and srarting to leaf out the other nothing is there any way i can till if its truly gone

use your fingernail to scratch the bark to see if there's any green in the cambiumn layer.

peaches are prone to peach borers! you have to spray them early and regularly, good luck

It doesn't sound good to me. I'd try clipping a branch/limb or two (pruning) to see if there is any green in them.
