Hi All! I have an American friend that is looking for one of these cakes. They are no longer available down there. I have searched far and wide for one here to no avail. If you happen to be in a grocery store and remember, could you have a peek for it, please. Of course all $ will be paid in advance. Thank you, Joelle

meant to ask was this a frozen cake?
or cake mix?
Oh sorry- the frozen one. Joelle
At least this would be a great time to ship given our climate.

Would it even be possible to ship? Or was that a March-in-Saskatchewan joke, Pam? :-) My dad in Stoon was saying that several cars were in the ditch there the other day, 'cause of the snow & ice.
Well I googled Sara Lee Orange Dessert just for the heck of it...a grand total of three hits, one of which was this thread! lol Another link didn't work, but here's the third one - a very entertaining list of food products that are apparently no longer in production. There are some good ones in here.

This is an American list, so I suppose there's a chance our cake could still be in production in some other country - sort of like the old VW beetles that kept being built in Mexico (or was it Brazil?), long after we thought they were history.
Shannon
Hi Shannon, thanks for looking, what I was hoping was that a larger city might carry it. We only have 35000. Take care, Joelle
LOL! At this being in the google results!
I know, isn't that a hoot? :-) I'll still take a look, next time I'm grocery shopping. Shipping would be a whole 'nother kettle of fish...but if Ottawa has it, that'll be a good lead & maybe there'll be some place closer to you. I'm all for finding a great dessert! :-)
no joke about our weather (right now anyways) ;)
Thanks- he would pay for everything and he actually lives closer to you then me.- New York. I am just happy that you will look when you are grocery shopping. Thank you,Joelle
