I need to move I need to move I need to move!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Yup....outside now!!! CA is a good place to move to!!! We've got it all !!! We'd be glad to have you!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Boy, I'm in a deep depression here. Talk about zone envy. It's going to be a long wait. Really pretty.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

picture lady, what a beautiful photo. Can almost smell them. DonnaS

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Thank you Ruth...I put it as my desktop background! It is even prettier in person!

Shirley...just think of all the bloosoms you have once yours start blooming! Many, many more than I will ever have! :-) So smile!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Looking good Margie. Just wait till they fill out, you woll be thrilled. Put some in the ground so you get the full effect! I was looking at my brug garden today, it is so overgrown, I am going to need a strong young kid to dig them up. My DH would kill me if I look his way!!

Wasn't it hot today? All week in the70s. I sure hope it dries my soil out. I am going to be potting up like crazy this week. So much to do an do so little time!

Gosh, I do not even know how many brugs are in there. This is th etop half of them. It is so thick with them you can't even walk thru anymore. And none are that good. Woe is me!!

Beautiful. Mine are growing but no blooms

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Wonderful Margie, they look swell!!! So does that blue flower, I think, blooming above them - is it like Brugie's blue flower on another thread?? I love blue in the garden!!!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

kell...seeing your over-grown brugs is making me think I want to keep them in containers and small !!! ;-))) Yes, it is very warm! My brugs in containers already need water after all the rain we had!

Donna...it shouldn't be too long for you, should it???

Sherry...the purple flower above the brugs are wisteria. They are just starting to blossom. Another few days they will be fully open. I will take another photo then.

I went out at 4am this morning to smell them and take some more photos! What we won't do for our brugs!!! Right!!?

I've got to check and see if the wild wisteria is blooming here, I don't think it's quite time yet. Any was you look at your brugs, et al, they are all so pretty!!!!!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Awesome pictures!!!!

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Very pretty Margie! I am anxiously awaiting mine to bud, I had some frost damage & had to prune them back. They are just starting to leaf out so I cannot imagine buds being far behind.
Kell, it has been in the 80's here, how wonderful is that! I have already had to start watering. LOL
Spring has arrived! YIPPIEE!
Donna

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I love the blue in the garden too, seems to balance and blend with so many other colors...it will be months before wisteria blooms in this neck of the tundra (I mean woods )
It's 20 outside now, ooh, a heatwave in Buffalo!
Pictures are just beautiful, I especially like the orange bloom posted all by herself, which one is it?
They are all so nice, Margie. Thanks for sharing.
Kell, I have to laugh....I see your jungle, then I look at my 4 brug twigs that I was so excited about growing this year...who am I kidding? LOL
I am laughing so hard I think I might fall off of my chair!
My little cuttings look anorexic in comparison. :)
Jackie

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Jackie, They'll grow and flourish. LOL

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Oh, I so hope you're right, Ada....I do believe in miracles.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Hopefully Spring will come soon and they'll take off growing. Just give them plenty of food and water if they need it

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Ada, my son came over to see what I was laughing about, so I showed him the pictures posted here on this thread, and then explained that they were the same as the plants I have potted by the windows. Max says, "OMG, yours look like little weevil sticks," whatever weevil means here, I do not know, and all the while he's laughing too! I told you, even an 8 year old can see how much work is ahead for me. Thank goodness for all of the advice and support.
Well, now I am bound and determined.............

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Jackie, trust me, if you don't kill them by overwatering, they'll grow big. LOL

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Jackie...all the brugs in the photos were purchased and given to me last summer...as rooted cuttings. They really do grow quickly! Hang in there. The orange one is Charles Grimaldi I am pretty sure. It was given to me as Insigni Pink...I call it IP NOT!

Donna, it is warm here also, not as warm as by you though...Actually I am thankful for that, as I am not fond of the heat. I have enough of my own heat, without it coming at me from outside me too! :-# I had my brugs in my little GH all winter, with heat on to keep them from freezing...so I didn't have any frost damage.

Thank you CC...I love to take pictures, especially when they turn out well!!

Wow the pics are Great and so beautiful. I spent the entire morning digging cleaning a preparing garden beds. Now would you think one of my brugs would bloom for me tonight!!! Ha No Way...LOL

Still have a long wait for them to start blooming~ Poor Sticks.....
Any how thanks soooo much for sharing your inspiring Blooms made my evening.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Great pictures Margie. You really have a good show going on for you.

Donna, Stockton is too hot for me!! I melt in the heat. But today it has been pretty hot here too, in the 70s. It will pretty much be this till November now. I hope!! LOL!!

I still do not have to water except for the hoophouse which needs to come down. My ground is still very satuated from all the rain.

Margie, you have a point. I have so many huge ones now in every available space in the ground and I have decided none of them is that special too take up my coveted ground space. I do not know how I am going to dig them all out. I need the room to grow my bruglings that I think are special.

I think I may even dig out my huge Rosamond. I feel like such a traitor. She used to be my favorite!

Gratiot, WI(Zone 5b)

All of them are gorgeous. Charles being my favorite out of these.

Anyone who would care to trade your temps in the 70's for the 29 degrees and snow I have now send me an email. I'll try to arrange something....Please??? LOL

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

LOL Rich, wouldn't it be nice if you could trade that cold weather for some good warm su shiny weather?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Today was even hotter!! And tomorrow it is really going to be hot. I hate the hot and I hate the cold. Though cool is better than warm anyday!

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

kell...the weather last night said it was 87 here today in SJ !!! It was 103 in my little GH with all the vents open!! Apparantly record breaking temperatures all over the area! I'm with you about not liking the heat...I will take cool anytime over heat.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

In the heat, my fat sizzles but does not melt away. Woe is me! LOL

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

LOL, Kell, your too funny!
I spent the day outside yesterday working & I was sweatin big time, I think it was a lot hotter then they had said it was gonna be, it felt like it made it into the 90's here. I was too tired to stay up & watch the news though, so I am not sure. Guess it does not really matter, it was still hot! LOL
Today I am going to get the summer canopies put up on the decks, usually I don't have to do that until April or May, but the house really was warm last night, I had to sleep with the fan on low.
But I am not complaining, I LOVE this weather, especially since we never really had a Fall, we went straight into winter & boy, was it a loooong winter!
I don't know how our neighbors to the East handle it.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I do not think our East coast friends will have too much sympathy for us. LOL. I feel daggers into my heart already.

We had the air conditioner on last night. I rushed home from work late for our sushi date. I was so hot, I had to search for a summer shirt to wear. Tom turned on the air so when we got back it was so cool. Well, it is now 7:30, I have been up for hours. I better get working in the yard instead of going to bed now. What a way to start the weekend!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

You're right, Kell. We need some of that heat.

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Well I for one have no problem sharing, we just need to figure out a way to get it there. LOL
I checked the weather forecast & it looks like we are in for a real drop next week. Even see some 60's and rain in the forecast.

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I will more than share...you can have my total allottement of heat!!! How's that for being kind hearted!!!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Why you girls are just so sweet. Now to decide how to get it here. LOL

Clinton, CT(Zone 6b)

Wow Margie - great pictures. Zone envy here to, I'm afraid. But..in 12 hours hubby and I head out for Boston. We are going to the Boston Spring Flower Show on Monday - I will spend all day walking around beautiful blooms. I can't wait!

See you all when I get back

Diane

San Jose, CA(Zone 9b)

Great pictures, Margie. I love the night time Brug shots. The heat sure did great things for my garden. There is stuff popping up everywhere. I'm with you though, I can do without warmer temperatures. I love spring weather, but if it weren't for lots of flowers in the summer, I'd be miserable!
