I have some cuttings of wandering jew and sweedish ivy houseplants to trade.
CLOSED: cuttings
I would be interested in the swedish ivy. :O) Is there anything in particular you are looking for?
i,m looking for anything I can put in a hanging basket that is a vine except a philodendron, I have about five, one that hangs anong a banisterr at the stairs an other that climbs the ceiling starting from 2 window boxes across a roll to desk, up a trellis and across the ceiling.
Sorry I get carried away.
The sweedish ivy cuttings are not rooted but the wandering jew is.
You would pay for postage.
First, is your wandering jew the purple or white?
I have a few things that vine........
German Ivy (rooted)
Unknown Ivy (see pic) (unrooted)
Goldfish Plant/Vine (unrooted)
Asparagus Fern (small division)
Another question. I just joined here yesterday, so this is all new to me. You said I would pay postage. So does that mean you would pay postage for what I send you? I just figured we would each pay our own.
The wandering jew ia a solid green. They are a littlte longer than an inch plant and there are 35 of them. The picture is of an english ivy and I already have two, but I like the german ivy.
We could do this transaction by Paypal if you have an account or exchange the cost of postage by mail. Let me know.
That sounds ok on the postage. I have 6 German Ivy cuttings 6-10 inches long. They are in a glass of water right now to root. They are not fully rooted, but have started. What would you send me for that?
Also, I'm not sure what the weather is like in RI, but I'm assuming it's still cold there, as is here. Would we do this trade now despite the weather, or hold off till it warms a bit? If we did hold off a bit, the ivy would be fully rooted for you also.
Thanks for the ID on the ivy. :O)
It would probably be better to wait, but these cuttings of the wandering jew will start to die if they aren't planted within the next few weeks. I can send some Sweedish Ivy cuttings ang you can root them yourself. I have about 50 sweedish ivy cuttings. How many do you want?
Did you say you would do this through Paypal?
Yeah, I'll do it through PayPal. I agree it's probably best to wait. How long do you think? Around April 1? I'll take as many as you are willing to send for what I have for you. Is swedish ivy hard to root? Thanks for being so patient with me. I'm trying to get the hang of all of this. :o)
Sweedish ivy is easy to root but it takes time though. I'll start some to root in water and after a few weeks they should root. By the time they do it will be April. I asssume your name is Jenny because that's part of your user ID. Mine is Janet. My e-mail address is jordung@cox.net.Send me your e-mail;address and I will contact you when they root
Janet
