Well not outside though. LOL
This picture was taken two days ago before we got 15 more in of snow dumped on us yesterday.
Inside the GH is a different story. It is starting to come alive with new growth.
Spring is in the air in NH
OH Joy! I know you're excited. Hope Spring will come soon for you Terry. But the pics of the ice cycles are beautiful. I don't get the luxury of seeing that here but love to see it.
Your plants obviously LOVE your GH! Your plants are so green and lush. Can't wait to see these buds when they open. :)
Julie
Unbelievable..... Snow. Your first pic shows all that snow...(icicles included-lol) and only a layer or two of plastic away there is Maya setting up for her 2005 debut. WOW !
I look forward to seeing your pics of Maya this year as she is one of my favorites.... For whatever reason....my cuts didn't make it this winter. Glad I'll be able to see it via pics from others.
Everything looks wonderful and it appears that they love the greenhuse. You must keep it comfy all the time for them. Can't wait to see pictures Terry! I know you are tired of all the snow but maybe this is the last of it.
Your plants look wonderful! What a difference between in- and outside.
Let us both hope, that the snow melts soon and springtime starts.
Gosh, I could deal with a little snow if I just had the room for my plants. Your greenhouse plants always look so nice. However...now that I've had a taste of 74 degree weather, I don't want to give in to winter again. I have spring fever bad and I'm not going to be happy until we have spring weather every day. Here's hoping this was you last big snow and that spring is on its way to NH too.
Thanks everyone. I sure hope this is the last of winter but there is more snow predicted this week. :(
I find myself spending more and more time in the GH. I can forget about what's outside when I am in there. LOL
Terry, your plants look beautiful. I hope Spring comes soon for both of us. LOL
The GH looks great! The snow and ice looks beautiful! I dont think we have had even close to that amount all year here.
I will be anxious to see your blooms.
OOH, Terry - your little slice of the tropics in the midst of New England winter sure sounds wonderful!
Your brugs look great!
Diane Krny
Terry, everything is looking great. Good for you!
It won't be long now, right???
If we could just get this snow thing overwith, you know? LOL
Jackie
Love the photo of the gh with the snow sliding off. I know you love it attached to your house. Your plants look great, guess I'd better start feeding mine.
I can't wait until I see ALL your beautiful Brugs in bloom!!!
I still cringe everytime I see your GH
its so nice and neat and clean and organized....need I go on?
mine is sooooo.........me....LOL
Disorganized, cluttered and way to much going on....LOL
Glad the storM dumped on you guys instead of us,we only got a few inches
but we are getting the after affects
LAKE EFFECT
where is spring ?
Its suppose to be in the 40's and instead it was 10 this am
Spring may be on the way but our sirens are going. Tornadoe on the way. byeeeee.
Doris, I hope everything is okay. Be sure to check in when you can. We had lots of storm warnings a couple of nights ago. Maybe three, I don't remember, but it was very strange for early March.
Doris, hope all is okay. We had tornadoes night befroe last to touch down about fifteen miles from me.
Oh my! I hope you all stay safe from the path of those tornadoes.Isn't this early for them?
We have horrible winters up here but I know my heart would'nt handle one of those funnels coming toward me so I'll put up with the snow and ice.
CC I don't envy your Lake Effect snow. You guys get buried in it.
Soon Terry ..... soon! Glad this last one missed me also! I would be getting so excited with all those buds coming on!!
Wow Terry. I don't kow you all live and deal with all the snow for so long. Glad your brugs are doing well.
Good morning, everything is OK they touched down about 8 miles away, we got lots of wind and some tree damage in town but otherwise things were quiet.
Thanks Doris. I'm sure glad everything is okay and hope that we won't have a bad year for tornadoes.
Happy to hear the tornadoe didn't get too close Doris.
Guess spring won't be here for awhile. It was -10 below this morning when DH got up and right now it is only 8 degrees so I'm sure it will go below 0 again tonight.
It should be getting warmer in March, not colder. :(
Great photos, snowhermit, your GH is special!! I cannot believe where the tornadoes are landing - Arky used to be in the alley, but they seemed to have spread out - they are scary!!!
you beat me in temp
it was only -6 when I left for work but we got 11.5 inches of lake effect
Syracuse just got a dusting
its just not fair
the north east is never gunna see spring
Spring is in the air???????? Looks like Icicles to me. LOL
SherryLike you are braver than me. I doubt my nerves or my heart would withstand sirens going off for tornado warnings.
CC I think you are right about spring. We hardly got any snow at the begining of winter and now when the weather should be getting better we are getting one storm after another. Another 6-12 in. is due here tomorrow night and Sat.
We saw a ROBIN today in the McDonalds parking lot. DH said he must have taken a wrong turn and got lost. Going to be hard for him to find worms through several inches of snow. Poor robin.
Terry, go buy that robin some worms. LOL
I do wonder what it will eat. I've always seen them pulling worms out of the ground.
Hopefully it''ll find something. I know I put out bird seed and bread crumbs out if we have snow or ice.
I didn't realize you guys were having tornadoes near-by....Glad to hear you are all safe. Come on spring for the NE !! and SE too!!! and everywhere else that needs it.
