Honestly, I don't want anything in return. This is the 3rd year that I'm sharing these wonderful seeds with everyone here at D.G. I just look forward to seeing all the wonderful pictures of this lovely flowering shrub growing in everyone's garden!

Gail, You've Got Mail.
This will go perfectly in my pastel garden- I feel like such a glutton though! I've been looking at want lists and have ordered some seeds so I can give back to all you generous people. I will have corkscrew vine seeds soon - would you like 2 of them (since the seeds are $1.00 each - I can only send a couple). If you can save me a bit of seeds, I should have my order here within 7 days now (I'm counting! lol)
Thank you!
Mindy Eilers

Starlight1153 you've got mail.
Are the flower parts edible? Or is it the leaves?
The plant flowers & leaves are edible. The plant belongs to part of the Okra family and therefore, people have eaten it. I have never tasted any part of the plant. I prefer to grow it for it's beautiful flowers.
Here is a link to give you more information about using it for culinary purposes. http://www.hibiscus.org/species/amanihot.php
