I planted neck pumpkins last year, and I just cut into the single one that grew. No seeds!! This is not a hybred. Is it because there was only one? Nah..........but I don't get it?!

You were probably just lucky. Since you only got one, you most likely had a pollination problem. They usually won't grow to full maturity with out seeds, but once in a blue moon.
