A little pink to brighten your day

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It is HOT here today! This flower was peeking out behind some leaves this morning. They have recovered quite well from the freeze at Christmas.

Aww it's hot there? If you get too warm, bring your plant and come to Ohio.
Very pretty Susie. Does it have a name?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It's L'Amour, she just opened. I thought it was going to be cloudy today but it's not, it's sunny and probably 80 something with a slight breeze.
She's got good color for spring don't ya think Kell?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Excellent Susie! I can't wait to see some of my and your dark ones I have, bloom in your Texas heat!! You better grow them real dark for me! LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I'm trying Kell. I have been trying to get everything fertilized this week.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Zone envy here. Would love to see something with a color other than brown or white on it. I guess white isn't a color, is it? Nice L'Amour.

80F! The picture brightens the day.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Oh so pretty Susie. My Lamour has buds also and so do some others. We have been getting lots of rain for about a week and I will be so glad when it stops for a while. I saw on the other forums pictures of all you blooms. You are ahead of me because I don't have blooms like you do. I think Spring has truly come to you place.

I love L'Amour, and yours is so pretty Susie, I'm drooling...

Very pretty Susie. I just love L'Amour's flowers.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Very pretty, Susie. The teens helping me last fall left mine sitting in the field after I had dug it up to take inside. We were working after dark.I nearly cried when I seen it two days later, looking so frozen. It's putting back out but I lost all of the top of it.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Beautiful pink blooms will definitely brighten everyone's day! Bet she perfumes your whole garden too!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Donna, it was 70 here today and we have winter storm possible Wednesday and Thrusday. I'm tired of the roller coaster too. LOL

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Everyone was enjoying this beautiful sunny day, in the low 60's! It felt like Spring to me!! You take what you can get!!

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

Very nice! I can't wait to see blooms on mine. I've got my first Jessie Noel of the year open today and a few more getting ready...

We are gonna almost hit 80 by the weekend - we're practically skipping the 70's!!

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

It's beautiful Susie! Any sightings yet?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Kristi do you mean gator sightings? A big gator was crossing the road the other day, I kept hoping a big truck would come along and squish him!
It got to 90 yesterday, I was sweating! Today a cool front is moving thru, only going to be in the 70's but right now I have the windows open and the fresh air feels great.

Knoxville, TN

Yea, go ahead and rub it in, Susie!
It is snowing in K-town this morning.
L'Amour is my favorite. I love the deep pink color.
Way to grow!!!

Aaaaw, poor Mel. Bill is in Smyrna, he said it's supposed to start snowing there too.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yep... Gator sightings. I shouldn't type before I've had my morning coffee. Are the ones by your house still asleep? 90 F- so soon? I'd take it. LOL.... We have sleet and snow right now.

Westmoreland, TN(Zone 7a)

How Pretty it is.
I wish it got that warm here as soon.
I want it to get to about 78 and sit on it for about a week I'm tired of the cold.

We are finally getting warm here too. Imagine having gators taking walks in your streets.
Thanks RH!

It's trying to rain now, kind of chilly and 72. Kristi, the gator was about a half a mile from my house. Haven't seen any right behind the house like they were last year.
