I went out to dinner with a few friends to a really nice Italian Restaurant here called "The Olive Garden". It is so popular and on weekend nights you can be sure on a 1 1/2 hour wait. Doesn't help that it is just outside a HUGE, popular Mall and also a Lowes Movie Theater. ....Lots of late-night activity!
I live only 5-7 minutes away from all this. We even have an Ikea here! Not too many of them around!!! We have EVERYTHING here! The mall is called "White Marsh Mall". ( whitemarshmall.com) --Baltimore, MD.
Yes! The whole White Marsh area here is kind of a tamed/overcivilized wetlands/ marsh area--once upon a time! Been here 35 years and seen it all built and it has NEVER stopped!!! All the old farmers are selling off their lands and 300.000+ homes and condos are popping up like mushrooms. It has NOT stopped for all the 35 years I have been here, and never will!

Gita, an excellent choice of restaurants! I'm kinda partial to the "Olive Garden", since our younger son was a waiter there for a couple of years!
Funny! Some friends took me to the Olive Garden here in California for my birthday the other day. We had the lunch special, all the soup and salad you could eat. We ate alot! LOL
Oh ... don't forget the breadsticks there!! Yum, Yum!!
