CLOSED: Have: Evergreen Wisteria seed

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

aka Millettia reticulata http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/59543/index.html for SASBE. This variety is non-invasive and is hardy for zones 7 and higher. I am open to trades but they are not necessary :).
Pam

**edited to include: When doing a SASBE please don't forget to include inside your real name/Daves name and for what seed the SASBE is for.

I will bite, I cannot resist the vines. Would you want some blue fescue seeds in exchange? Or I have some mixed BeeBalm?

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi ya, the BeeBlam sounds great :). I love anything that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies....

Tillamook, OR(Zone 8b)

Do you have enough for a couple trades? I have been wanting this vine for years!!! Can't find it around here!

OMG, Donna, you've got your seeds organized in a *binder*!! What a great idea! I've been thinking there must be a better way.... I bought a little plastic organizer with 5 drawers so I could separate seed packs according to what needed to be sowed when, but the drawers are now stuffed and finding things is getting iffy.... a BINDER! YES!! Maybe I can find some of those inserts with the little plastic pockets that people use for trading cards; most seed packs would fit into those, and organizing/locating packs would be much, much easier! You can tell I just had one of those big, blazing light bulb moments when I read your comment!! Woohooo!

Thank you, Donna!!

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Hi Critter,
yes, that is exactly what I have in my binder, the trading card plastic pages. Has 3 rows of 3, so 9 packs fit in perfectly. And the binder is the big one because when you get your packs in there you really need the space. I also alphabetize them. LOL

I've tried planting wisteria seeds. Plants grew up the side of my house very nicely. Been there for about 20 years.Guess what? No blooms. Asked around to see if I may have a male plant or something but no,I was told. You only get blooms when you start the plant from a cutting. Is that true?

Box Springs, GA

I would love to have some:)Would you like to trade?I have some hummingbird vine, spotted bee balm, and lots more:)Please let me know.

Thanks,Chelsea

Needville, TX(Zone 9a)

roose, I have heard that if your wisteria is not blooming then the conditions are not right for it.

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I have seen this grown from seed before - yes it takes a long time to bloom but it will if everything is right.

Monroe, NY(Zone 6b)

I wonder what the right conditions are. If anyone out there has any clue please share it. I love wisteria.
