This is so CUTE!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

It is on a skinny whinny toothpick of a stem that has come up from the soil next to the original cutting that is so small itself. I couldn't believe it when I saw the bud. It is bigger than the stalk. LOL

PS this is Vixen!

I'm new with Brugs so explain something to me. How did you get a bud without a Y.

HOLY COW!!! weird!!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Was this a cutting from above the "y?" I think I can answer my own question by examining the uneven leaves (uneven at the base.) Right? Then it can bloom anytime, I think.

(Edited for spelling)

WOW! Your cutting of "Vixen" sure is producing some of the most healthy and vigorous growth for a flower bud to appear so soon! I would guess that the cutting was definitely taken from ABOVE the "Y" to get it to produce buds so rapidly. WAY TO GO!!
