Just wanted to say that Jane and Dave Hiner really enjoy Dave's Garden!! We Have a Backyard Wildlife Habitat certified by the National Wildlife Federation No. 29928. This morning was a great visual of all the birds here.The temp is around 55 degrees and may hit in the seventies by Friday!! Our habitat at the moment has native trees and grasses along with various critter-lovin flowers and shrubs...plus year-round waterfalls and bathes. Jane and I are in our fifties(kinda lost in em too!)and we really enjoy diggin in the dirt!!Thanks again,Dave,for your wonder site!
Hi to everyone from Atchison,Kansas!!
Welcome to DG. Your "backyard" sounds like an oasis. Here in Iowa we are looking forward to possible temps in the 60's on sunday and think that is pretty great. Can't wait till things start greening up (soon I hope). I'm very much an amateur when it comes to gardening and keep it simple. DG has been a good resource for problem solving and choosing plants. Enjoy the many forums and friends you will meet.
Hello from Pleasureville Kentucky. I am just waiting till it gets dry enough and warm enough to start diggin that dirt. Your wildlife habitat sounds great. We are on a farm and have various animals. Plant a large vegetable garden, plus do some flower gardening too. Am going to put in a wildflower garden this spring, plus a day lily bed. Big plans, hope the energy doesn't run out before it is accomplished. Welcome to Daves Garden.
Hi Jane and Dave. Welcome to another Daves garden. It sounds like a lot of work taking care of your place. We have three acres here in Iowa and it is all I can do to care for it. I hope to see you around the garden, here, often. Nice meeting you.
~~~~~~~~~~Waving hello to Dave and Jane. Welcome to Dave's Garden. You will find this site is very addictive. It is full of wonderful people . Enjoy!
